Even though I love season 9 and 10, my thoughts always return to the amazing storyline of the first five seasons (Kripke era). That's where all the amazingsness started. Isn't it just great how everything makes sense now? It's like everything was planned from the very beginning - even if it probably wasn't. I just love this show. It's one of these very few tv shows that I could watch over and over again.

This scene is one of my favorite scenes of Supernatural. I could watch it over and over again - and I already did. Zachariah zaps Dean five years into the future so he can see himself what would happen if he doesn't say yes to Michael. And in this future Sam, who is Lucifers true vessel, has given up and said yes to Lucifer and is now gone completely. So this is not a portrait of Sam Winchester - it's a portrait of Lucifer inhabiting Sam's body.
